Private Tour at the Hong Kong D-Day Exhibition

This year marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day. The members and affiliates of the Society for Hong Kong Studies are invited to a private tour of the exhibition, Lost and Found in Hong Kong: The Unsung Chinese Heroes at D-Day, which rediscovers this well-known chapter of history from a previously unknown perspective — through the lens of Chinese participation at this crucial moment.

The exhibition is the culmination of extensive research and collaboration with numerous partners in Hong Kong and abroad, including nine universities, five museums, four consulates and over a dozen historical and cultural institutions. It seeks not only to showcase these novel historical discoveries unearthed locally and globally, but also to share a message that bridges East and West, past and present, and older and younger generations.
